White Laces|||Heavy Nights
White Laces comes to us from the SHDWPLY Festival in Norfolk, VA with new guy “Heavy Nights” from their forthcoming debut LP. Is that a maraca in Jimmy Held’s hand? Yes, and that’s guitarist Alex French taking a break from the Telecaster for some time on the keys.
Preorder our new splits with Arches and The Snowy Owls! All preorders of the Arches 7” come with a bonus split cassette featuring unreleased jams!

Hey! So Alex is still off doing perfectly legal things in Amsterdam, but in the meantime we’ve been busy back in the states getting a number of things rolling. First off, we’re extremely excited to announce that we’ll be releasing a split 7” with our buddies Arches this January on Worthless Junk. We cut our side at Mystic Fortress in Roanoke, VA last month. Our split 10” with The Snowy Owls on Harding Street Assembly Lab is also out that month and should be available for preorder soon.
We contributed a cover of the song “Calcutta” to Love Me When I’m Gone, a tribute to my friend Ross who took his own life last year. The record will be coming out on vinyl within the next few months, and you should head over to the Kickstarter page now and donate to help get his two records pressed to vinyl where they belong.
We’re also heading out for a handful of shows in November/December, so make sure to come out and say hi if we’re in your neck of the woods. Other than that, we’ll be hammering away at our first LP in our cozy new rehearsal space.

Thanks to everybody who made it out to the shows this past week. We had a great time with Super Vacations and PC Worship last Wednesday and want to thank Nile for letting us move the show after Sprout closed down.
We capped the week off with the first annual RVA Music Fest. You can check out some nice photos and write-ups from that here, here, and here. Other than that, we’re tidying up our forthcoming split 10” and another 7” (that we’ll be announcing more info on soon) this coming weekend and then we’ll be dormant for a bit while Alex jets off to Europe.
Check back soon for some November show announcements!
